Will you train me online or in person?
Whichever suits you.
During the pandemic, it became quite popular to train online. I do it often and it works well.
Nowadays people prefer the in-person, one-on-one training, which is done at your home. But if you prefer online, this can absolutely be done.
What are the benefits of training at home?
The most common reason for not going to the gym is: you are too busy and don’t have time.
Many of us are now working from home. It has become even harder to juggle between and work and family.
On top of that, some people lack motivation. Some feel too self-conscious about their appearance in the gym. Others aren’t happy with the lack of results from their past attempts to lose weight and get healthy.
Personal training at home allows you to train at home around your busy schedule.
You have a professional trainer helping you to keep you motivated and get you the results you want.
You don’t have to worry about feeling self-conscious in the gym.
Do you start with a consultation?
Your initial consultation is FREE of charge.
This includes doing a general health and fitness analysis. It gives me the chance to find out more about your goals and what I can do to help you achieve them.
This also gives you the chance to meet me via Zoom, Whatsapp, or Skype call and ask any questions you may have long before we decide if we are right for each other.
Does it matter how fit (or unfit) I am?
Not at all!
I have helped all kinds of people improve their fitness, quality of life, and physiques.
My client range from formation skydivers to post-heart surgery patients wanting to lose weight.
We all have to start somewhere and all of your sessions and workouts are designed progressively to suit you at each stage.
How long is each training session?
Each session is 45 or 60 minutes long
For Online Coaching workouts, it help if you’re set up and ready in time for the training session.
Because I have a schedule of training sessions, if we start late I might not be able to end late.
How fast will I get results?
This all depends on how often you train, and how committed you are to getting your results.
Trust in my plan, follow instructions 100% and keep focused, especially relating to any nutritional plan, and you will feel better within just 1 week.
You should see improvements within 2 weeks.
The rate of weight loss will vary from person to person and is dependent upon your starting weight, gender, and metabolism.
And most importantly it depends on good nutrition and how often you train.
For best results, I advise following your custom programme guidelines for a minimum of 12 weeks.
12 weeks is nothing! It’s just 3 months, and you should see a major improvement in that short time.
Can I train with a partner?
Absolutely!
Training with someone else can be a lot of fun and helps in keeping motivated. And it’s also a way to keep the cost of training down.
What clothing and equipment do I need?
You will need to wear supportive trainers and workout clothing such as jogging bottoms and a t-shirt and also recommend that you have a towel handy for your workout.
If we do in-person training at your home, I bring the basic equipment we will use.
If we train online, it is recommended to have some basic, inexpensive equipment like resistance tubes/bands and dumbells.
I’m happy to incoporate any other equipment that you favour into your workouts.
My home is quite small. Will we have space to train?
The equipment that we personal trainers use is designed to be small, compact and portable.
I have been training clients for years and have not come across a client’s home that is too small to train in.
How do your weight loss / fat loss programs work?
The Fat Loss Programmes are designed around increasing metabolism.
They incorporate training techniques to increase lean toned muscle. They also include specific metabolism-boosting nutrition plans to blast that fat off.
They not only get rid of unwanted excess fat, they keep it off.
